The portal for consulting the Corpus Chartarum Italicarum is online, a collection of around 5,000 watermarked papers from libraries, public archives and private collections, which illustrates the history of Italian paper production from the 13th to the 20th century.
The project, started some time ago, has finally found realization thanks to the commitment of ICPAL, directed by Dr. Aurora Raniolo, in enhancing and making available this precious collection of ancient papers, conserved at ICPAL and the Paper Museum of Fabriano.
